1. What makes The Daily Jerky different from other beef jerky?

The Daily Jerky specializes in New Mexico style carne seca. Our jerky is dried for a crunchy bite with some chew, and many of our flavors feature authentic New Mexico red and green Chile. We make our jerky with simple ingredients and big flavor, focusing on high-protein snacking without a bunch of unnecessary junk.


2. Is your jerky really thin and crispy?

Yes. Unlike a lot of thick, soft jerky, The Daily Jerky is intentionally thin, dry, crispy and still has a little chew. That classic carne seca texture makes it easy to snap, easy to share, and crazy addictive. If you’re tired of gummy, sticky jerky, this style is for you.


3. What flavors do you offer?

We rotate flavors, but our main lineup includes:

  • Christmas Beef Jerky (Combination of Red and Green Chile)

  • Garlic Beef Jerky

  • Green Chile Beef Jerky

  • Green Chile Teriyaki Beef Jerky

  • Lemon Pepper Beef Jerky

4. Is your jerky spicy?

Some flavors are mild, some are medium, and some definitely bring the heat. As a general rule:

  • No Heat:  Garlic, Original, Salt and Pepper, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki

  • Medium heat: Green Chile, Green Chile Teriyaki, Red Chile

  • Hotter: Pineapple Habanero, Spicy Teriyaki



5. Is The Daily Jerky good for keto or low-carb diets?

Most of our jerky is high in protein and low in carbs, making it a great option for keto, low-carb, and high-protein diets. Some flavors with sweet glazes (like Teriyaki or Pineapple Habanero) have more sugar than others. Check the nutrition label on each product for exact carb and sugar counts.


6. What are the ingredients in your jerky?

Ingredients vary slightly by flavor, but our jerky is typically made with:

  • Beef

  • Seasonings (salt, pepper, spices, chiles)

  • soy sauce

  • Other flavors depending on the recipe

We recommend checking each flavor’s ingredient list and allergen information on its product page, especially if you’re sensitive to soy, gluten, or certain spices.


7. Does your jerky contain gluten?

Some flavors may contain soy sauce or other ingredients with gluten, and others may be naturally gluten-friendly. We do not currently advertise our products as certified gluten-free. If gluten is a concern, please read each flavor’s ingredient panel carefully and reach out to us with specific questions before ordering.


8. How should I store my jerky, and how long does it last?

Unopened bags should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight—like a pantry or cupboard. Once opened, we recommend:

  • Resealing the bag tightly

  • Or transferring to an airtight container

For best quality, enjoy within a few days of opening, although properly stored jerky can last longer. Always check the “best by” date on the package for guidance.


9. Do I need to refrigerate the jerky?

Unopened bags do not need to be refrigerated. After opening, refrigeration isn’t required but can help keep the jerky fresh for longer, especially in warmer climates. If you’re not going to finish the bag quickly, tossing it in the fridge is a good idea.


10. Where do you ship?

We currently ship our jerky within the United States. Shipping options, rates, and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. If you’re interested in a large or special order outside our normal shipping area, contact us and we’ll see what we can do.


11. How long does shipping take?

Most orders are processed and shipped within a few days some times it takes longer if we have to make it fresh. Transit times depend on the shipping postal time frames, but typically arrive in about 3–5 business days after leaving our facility. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.


12. Do you offer local pickup or local delivery?

We don’t currently offer local Delivery, but we offer local pick up at our store front. Not looking to come in all orders can be shipped directly to your door.


13. Do you offer wholesale or bulk jerky?

Yes. The Daily Jerky offers wholesale and bulk for retailers, breweries, taprooms, gift shops, convenience stores, and more. If you’d like to carry our jerky please visit our Wholesale page or contact us at Orders@thedailyjerky.com.


14. Can I use your jerky for gift boxes, corporate gifts, or events?

Absolutely. Our jerky is perfect for:

15. What is your return or refund policy?

Because jerky is a food product, we cannot accept returns once a package has been opened. However, if there’s an issue with your order—such as damage in transit, a missing item, or a quality concern—please contact us and we’ll do our best to make it right.
